Baby pictures of Princess "Gypsy" Blue

A blue female has found her way to me! I brought her home on August 5, 1999. She is an absolute sweetheart. I visited her and her littermates for the first time on July 21, 1999. Below are some pictures I took that day. They are being shown here with the permission of the breeder.

Here she is! 5 weeks old and 8.5 lbs! Notice how deep blue here eyes are. Of course she is still very young but her eyes should stay this color for a little while longer. She is a Blue Blanket Back GSD.

Here she is with her littermate. The female pup on the right will be a "Saddleback" and has lots of drive!! I wanted a more laid back girl and the breeder told me that the girl on the left was who I wanted! These pups are located in Northern California.

A big smile for the camera! Her littermates eyes are also incredibly blue. They were all gorgeous puppies.

Her cocked head is a result of the "howling" noises I was making. Hey, it worked!

Their mommy walking outside of the X-pen draws their attention.

Here is the dam Princess "Gray-ce" Isn't she pretty? She is a blue and was gray as a pup just as her pups are now. When a blue is full grown they look very much like "normally" colored Shepherds. However when side by side the difference is quite noticable in the Black pigment.

The sire of the litter, "Levi" stands on the right visiting with Renegade through the fence. Levi is also a Blue. His registered name is Blue Denim von Ace

I am very excited about my new blue baby and couldn't be happier with the sire and dam. They had temperaments of gold. Very sociable Shepherds, beautiful dogs who were a joy for us to visit! And it's been even more of a joy to bring her home! She and Renegade are best of freinds now!
