"Pinewoods True Blue Destiny", call name "Destiny", sits with her littermate Ranger. Dilutes really stand out as puppies, looking much different than their darker colored littermates. Destiny also belongs to Kathy from Trailwinds Shepherds in Texas.

Destiny found her way into Kathy's home as an unexpected surprise. A very happy unexpected surprise! A neighbor of Kathy's wanted a pup just like Xena (Solitaire's black and red littermate). Kathy was impressed with the kennel and not only recommended them but helped place many in the litter herself. The day Kathy went with her neighbor to help her choose the right pup it was Kathy's birthday. There happened to be blues in this particular litter as well. After the choice was made, the breeder handed Kathy's neighbor her new pup, Ranger. Then the breeder picked up the blue pup that Kathy had picked as being the "best out of the blues", and said, "Happy Birthday. And thank you for finding such good homes for the pups." And that is how Destiny was added to Kathy's pack. Kathy says the reason she named her Destiny was because, "It was as if she was destined to be mine."
